Leland Blues Murals

Leland, like many other Delta towns along highway 61, has used blues tourism to bring visitors and economic development to the community.  In addition to the Blues Museum, they have a series of blues-related murals around the town.  On the side of the Blues Museum (since they relocated from the old Temple theater across the street) is the mural for Bh’ug McGee and James Son Thomas.  You can read about Son Thomas here, but I cannot find out who McGee was.  Perhaps just a Leland local who jammed with musicians from time to time?
