Steffi in September

That cute little puppy from May is now the adorably rambunctious adolescent. She outgrew the small crate a month ago and now her super-charged condo takes up most of the space in front of my closet. She is longer and taller and weighs more, but she still has that face with the expressions that make you say “you are so stinking cute!”

I think she might be working it a little. On the other hand, she is learning to mind her Ps and Qs and getting a little more orderly in her approach to dogs and their humans. She has been to the vet twice now and next month she will be spayed. While Rando still wants his chocolate lab and I would love another German Shepherd, for now, we’ll keep the shingle out. Taylor Hillside Animal Rescue: You dump ’em, we save ’em. It’s just what we do. We also neuter our animals and keep them on a leash or in a fenced yard, feed nutritious quality food, and share our home with them. No wonder all the lost dogs are always showing up here–word gets out.

  2. Steffi is adorable, and I enjoyed your photos. Dog Sadie is living at our house right now, and I’m enjoying her.

He looks like a happy dog! We have a neighbor that walks his dog about 6 times a day (at least) past our home. And that has been going on for months! We are thinking he is trying to get the dog’s energy out. Enjoy your day!

She certainly is a cutie pie! And I am sure word gets around about your house being a safe haven for all who need it! Love that about you.

She is certainly just too cute! I seem to have one of those invisible signs in my front yard, but it is for cats. Tired? Hungry? Pregnant? Cold? Stop here. This lady will feed you, shelter you, find homes for your babies, spay you, and love you if you choose to stay.

So cute! I have always been a cat person who wanted a dog. I have so many little lives depending on me right now, I can’t see adding another so I love seeing other people’s dogs.
