Into the darkness, waiting for the light…

Don’t you want those under-cabinet lights on?

Somehow, it seems a bit anti-climactic after all this time. Maybe that is a good thing I will have to be sans electricity for a few days. I will just think of it as camping without hook-ups.

We are now ready to replace the electric panel in the house–another of those items that is past time to be remedied. I will be off-grid for a few days, and hopefully, that means only 2 days. I can entertain myself playing around in the kitchen…in the dark. Happy trails, and see you soon.

Think of it as riding out a hurricane or a winter storm where you lose power – except (hopefully) there is no storm to deal with!

Looks like a perfect spot to sit and write a blog post. Once the the electric is back on, of course. Until then, enjoy the cozy camping time!

Ice chest full of ice; plenty of drinking water; plenty of flushing water; plenty of candles. What else do we need? Besides electricity, that is.
